You start by filling in a survey, and you will be contacted by our therapists to settle the first consultation.

If you do not have a Norwegian BankID, you must fill in this form - Admission form - and hand it in to the SiS reception in the Kitty Kielland building.

When you contact SiS' healthcare department, you simultaneously comply with us sending you information about your appointments via SMS and e-mail.

If your condition worsens while you are waiting for your appointment, we recommend you contact your GP, acute ambulant team, or the psychiatric nurse at the emergency room.

SiS offers treatment for mild mental health issues. We can help you cope with study-related and interpersonal challenges, as well as various life crises. The treatment is of limited duration. The goal of the treatment is to provide you with a solid foundation so that you can become more resilient and better able to handle the challenges you encounter.

As an alternative to our own services, the AAT (Ambulant Acute Team) can, in addition to their emergency response, offer a short period of support sessions to students. They also have the ability to refer you to specialized healthcare services. No referral is needed, and students can contact them directly by phone at 91 65 10 05 to schedule an appointment. Any co-payment required by AAT will be refunded by us if you submit a receipt using this form.

There are many support services available in the region, with varying wait times. Perhaps another option might be just as suitable for you? https://minsis.no/en/health/other-help-offers

Councelling happens in collaboration between the student and the therapist. We expect you to attend your scheduled appointments and to be willing to work on your issues outside of the sessions as well. We also encourage you to participate in one of our courses or group offerings as a supplement to or replacement for individual sessions.
