Student priest

Sometimes a good conversation could help straighten your back and liberate the extra power you need to do the things you need to do.

Sometimes a good conversation could help straighten your back and liberate the extra power you need to do the things you need to do.

The student-priest offers low threshold conversations for all students at UiS, BI, and Kunstskolen (the school of art). You can book an appointment via e-mail, or drop by "Studentenes hus" and see if the office door is open. You decide what we will talk about. Sometimes something serious might have happened, and other times it’s more common challenges tied to studying.

The student-priest has a duty of confidentiality and lots of experience as a conversation partner.

Welcome to arenas for open communities!

Contact

Reach out via e-mail. You don’t have to write what the matter is about, and you will be met with respect no matter your beliefs.

The student-priest is employed by The Norwegian Church but is here for everyone - no matter what beliefs you have. The priest can also help you find another person to talk to within your belief if this is something you wish for.
