What's coming in SiS studenthus?
U-floor
Here are some of the highlights of what's coming in the u-floor of SiS studenthus. There will also be toilets and group rooms here.
Student bar
The student bar will be a full 500m², and that's just the inside area! The bar also has an outdoor area, so you can only look forward to warm summer evenings in the student bar.
Scene
SiS studenthus will be a meeting point for events for students, so of course we have a stage! 🎤
Room for calm and reflection
Do you need a break from studying and everyday life? Room for calm and reflection is a quiet room where you can reflect and recharge your batteries in peace and quiet.
LAB for UiS idrett
This will be both a lab and a teaching room for UiS idrett! 🤾♀️
New climbing hall
We already have a 14m high climbing wall and 130m² of bouldering wall. But what if I told you that our climbing hall will now be 5 times bigger? 👀 Read more about our current climbing offer here.
New performance department
Our new performance department will be almost 1000m²! 🤯 Check out our group class calendar to see when the next performance class is held.
1. floor
Here are some of the highlights of what is coming on the 1st floor of SiS studenthus. There will also be rooms for "just hanging out" and for studying.
Bokkaféen
Our beloved Bokkaféen is getting a new home and expanding its range! Did someone say salad bar? 👀🥗 Read more about Bokkaféen here.
Spisestua
Spisestua is an extension of Bokkaféen with plenty of seating. Sit down and enjoy a meal or find your laptop and study. 💻
Reception
Do you have any questions? Then you can ask at the reception. No matter which entrance you choose for the first floor, the reception will be straight ahead! ⬆️
Hybelen
Hybelen is a small group room on the first floor. Here the "first come first serve" or "the early bird gets the worm" principle applies. 🏃♂️
Kollektivet
Kollektivet is a large group room/meeting room that can be booked.
Studio SiS
Studio SiS can be used for free by students, and here you can record almost anything you want, even podcasts!
Amphitheater
Relax on a bar stool along the amphitheater, and take in all the life and excitement that happens around you.
Akademika
The bookstore is also moving. This is where you will buy the books in your curriculum in 2025. 📚
Padel courts
The sports center strikes again and opens 3 new padel courts! 🎾

Social zones
SiS studenthus will be a meeting point for all students in Stavanger. You will find social zones throughout the building.
Room for student organizations and student associations
We gather several student organizations and student associations under one and the same roof! 🏠 Are you interested in joining one? Check out our overview of student organizations and student associations in the Stavanger region.
Roof terrace
Nice view and fresh air. We don't really need more, but we have exciting plans for the terrace! More info to come. 🌸

Mental health services
You will soon find our health department in SiS studenthus. Here you will get access to all SiS' health services. 💜
Health nurse
At the health nurse you can get guidance and examinations for questions about contraception, pregnancy and abortion, testing and treatment of chlamydia, prescription for contraceptives, and more.
Dental clinic from Tannhelse Rogaland
We already have a dental support discount, but now you can also go to the dentist right in SiS studenthus! 🦷 Read more about the dental support discount here.
